Environmentally Friendly Mosquito Control

In2Care(r), a mosquito trap, is made from durable plastic. It uses water and an odor to attract Aedes mosquitoes. The specially treated gauze is placed near the water surface to attract mosquitoes. Once they are inside, they become contaminated with a larvicide or a fungus. We take advantage of Aedes' tendency to spread their eggs across multiple locations. We let them fly out from the Trap to exploit this while carrying larvicide on their legs. They spread the larvicide around and infect several breeding areas. This allows us to kill larvae in difficult-to-reach breeding sites. The insect-specific fungus kills mosquitoes before they spread diseases.
